Givenchy Very Irresistible is a floral fragrance with a little sweetness – so well mixed. The initial application is marked by a clean lemon, with berries, which evolves rapidly in a bed of roses and magnolias. The peony is also well mixed in this bouquet, so that it does not stand out too much and does not remind me of the bathroom air freshener (an unfortunate association I have, related to peony). The floral notes are pleasant and clear enough, distinct, that I can identify them, but not so different that they smell discordant. This perfume is a well-made floral that, given today’s strong floral launches, does not end up being unique. However, he is probably one of the best competitors.
Since its launch, Givenchy Very Irresistible has inspired a long line of successors. We have an ADT and ADP version, along with successors such as Very Irresistible for Men, Very Irresistible Fresh Attitude (male version), Absolutely Irresistible, and Very Irresistible Sensual. Givenchy Very Irresistible – like its successors – is bottled in a colorful, high primer with a subtle twist included in the model. The glass is a little strange to hold, especially when sprayed, and I’m worried I’ll get rid of it, due to the heavy material and the strange, tall and thin shape. The model itself is a pleasant echo of the Givency aesthetic, pleasing enough to the eye.
